Holy Loopholes

DRINKING alcohol was never illegal under Prohibition. Instead, only the sale, transportation, and manufacturing of alcohol became outlawed.

There were many perfectly legal loopholes built right into the Prohibition legislation. Exemptions included use for mechanical, medical, or religious purposes.

It took some paperwork, but during Prohibition rabbis were LEGALLY able to provide 10 gallons of “Sacramental” wine to Jewish Families.
